The purple martin family migrates from South America up through North America calling North America the perfect home to raise a family.
They come approximately 11 to a family. This is the perfect large house made of thick, solid wood pieces for optimal insulation. Be careful choosing fake wood, vinyl or solid tin ~ these materials heat up cooking the eggs. Birds will lay eggs, then abscond from the house when temperatures rise above 80 degrees SAD! Housing is so critical for these birds because of the massive amounts of forest destruction by means of natural causes and construction in their fly zones which is from south all the way up north in USA.
